JEMS (Jeffersonville Enhances More of Sullivan) would like to thank everyone that came to the Lion King Outdoor Movie at The Backyard Park last Friday! We were not sure if it would run with the crappy weather but the sun came out and we had a wonderful time! Thank you to “Vicki” our amazing face painter for transforming several small patrons into different animals, making them happy. Please plan on coming out for the next movie night Friday, June 20 for the movie “Chicken Little.” For extra fun before the movie, enjoy the amazing & talented acrobatic & hip hop dancers performing under the instruction of Ashlea Prouty from the “Rhythm & Grace Performing Studio”. This fantastic group danced at the JD Holiday Parade in Jeffersonville in November and at the recent St. Patrick’s Day Parade with 50+ dancers! The gates open at 6:30 pm and the movie starts at dusk. A face painter will be there too!
