The Backyard Park (at 21 Lovett Lane, Jeffersonville) has been a busy place during the last week or so with a great concert featuring BJ Hendrickson, including his talented wife, and also the BonesKrew on stage giving an amazing performance! Then last Friday night the Red Dog Youth Football Team and their coaches showed everyone “their stuff” before the outdoor movie “Little Giants” was shown. Many thanks to all the performers, players, and families that came out to support the JEMS beautification group and their work to help better our community!
Mark your calendars: Friday, August 15, JEMS is hosting their last free outdoor movie of the season,” Moana 2,” at The Backyard Park (21 Lovett Lane, Jeffersonville) with Butch and his Petting Zoo, games, and fun before the movie. The gates open at 6:30pm and the movie starts at dusk. Chairs will be provided. Children will be given their own coupon to use at the Concession stand that offers delicious hot dogs, fresh popped popcorn, and lots of other goodies. Bring your family and friends to enjoy this fun night out under the stars!
The Boy Scouts are having their Chicken BBQ Saturday, August 16 from 3-5pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Jeffersonville. Takeouts only for $15. Come out and support Jeffersonville Boy Scout Troop 106 while enjoying a delicious meal!
The Western Sullivan Public Library (Jeffersonville Branch) invites you to join them for “Felting with Buck Brook Alpacas” Thursday, August 21 at 5pm. The Sullivan County 4-H Livestock Market & Product Auction is being held on Sunday, August 17 at the Grahamsville Little World’s Fair!
