National Friends of Libraries Week, October 19-25, is an opportunity for the library to honor and celebrate the dedicated volunteers who work to support and advocate for our library.

The Friends of the Western Sullivan Public Library is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting our library in its mission to promote literacy and lifelong learning.  They work to inspire community involvement and provide resources that strengthen and enrich the programs and services of the Western Sullivan Public Library.  Community support is at the heart of everything they do. A great group to join to volunteer, helping the youth of your community as well as the community itself! Contact WSPL at one of their branches for more information. On Tuesday, October 14 at 6 p.m. WSPL at the Jeffersonville branch is hosting Fall Mosaics with Heather Lockwood for a fall craft! They will be making mosaic trivets and all supplies will be provided. Since this craft will be offered at all 3 three branches, they ask you to only register for one. Email Ciera at wsplprograms@rcls.org.
