“Hero Day” is being held on June 7 from 1-3 p.m. at the Town of Callicoon Park located at 959 Callicoon Center Road, Callicoon Center, NY. This event is being sponsored by the Callicoon Center Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary. Suggested donation of $5 per family. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Our Western Sullivan Public Library is hosting a Community Craft Swap on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Jeffersonville Branch. Bring your unused crafting supplies and trade them in for something new! They have planned a special day full of crafting, socializing and fun for all ages! Bring a craft project you've been working on, or pick through their supplies and make something new. There will be stations for DIY books and cards, jewelry making, collage art, crochet, button-making and more. Save the dates: JEMS is at it again, offering family fun at The Backyard Park located at 21 Lovett Lane in Jeffersonville. On Friday, July 10 their movie night will feature “Zootopia 2” with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. Butch will be there with free pony rides prior to the movie being shown at dusk! Then on Friday, July 24 they will be showing the movie JAWS for teens + but of course kids are welcome too! All of the movies are free and when you get hungry the Concession stand is open with fresh popcorn, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, candy, soft drinks, water, coffee and more. FMI: contact me!

The Solstice and Ash Mystic Shoppe located at 4893 State Rt 52 in Jeffersonville is planning a Summer Solstice Strawberry Moon Festival for Sunday, June 28 that will be geared towards self-care and wellness. More details coming! This Shoppe is amazing carrying an array of metaphysical one-of-a-kind items created by local Artisans. Shop for crystals, candles, soaps, jewelry, plants, pottery and much more! The Jeffersonville Sunday Farmer’s Market is here, and they are gearing up for another great season. The Market is in full swing Sundays now through Labor Day weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jeffersonville Bake Shop located at 4906 NY 52, Jeffersonville. There will be farmers, artists, live music, kid’s activities and are dog-friendly.
