KAUNEONGA LAKE – The Kauneonga Lake Farm & Makers Market, located at 3594 State Rte. 55, Kauneonga Lake,  is opening its outdoor summer season on Saturday, June 28. The market will run every Saturday thereafter through September 8, operating at a new time 10am to 2pm.

The market is sponsored by the Bethel Local Development Corp (BLDC) and serves as a vibrant community hub. Beyond shopping for fresh produce, it provides opportunities to connect with farmers and makers, learn about where food comes from, and support local producers. Our goal is to foster a relationship with the Bethel community by providing a platform for local entrepreneurs and community members to interact and build a local economy.

The market is located next to Veterans Park across from Bethel Council of the Arts, Table & Tap, Benji’s, Sticky Fingers, Industry and near Sorella. It’s in its fourteenth season and has grown into a year-round market with approximately 25 vendors offering a variety of goods, including locally grown produce, flowers, meats, jams, baked goods, condiments, and other artisanal and handcrafted items.

In addition to shopping, the market features children’s activities and live entertainment. Some vendors accept SNAP/EBT, making farm-fresh produce accessible to a wider range of community members.

During the winter months, the market transitions to an indoor monthly market from Thanksgiving through June.

Community members are encouraged to visit the market, explore the diverse selection of locally sourced food, and support local farmers and makers. Street and municipal parking is available.
