WOODRIDGE – Kiwanis of Woodridge is pleased to announce that they have received a grant from Stewart’s Holiday Match Program that will help to purchase summer reading books for students in grades Pre-K and Kindergarten. This will allow these BCES students to improve their reading and cognitive skills during their summer break. Reading is a fundamental skill that requires nurturing and encouragement and the Kiwanis Club is pleased they can contribute books once again with assistance from Stewart’s Holiday Match Program.

Stewart’s Holiday Match Program collects donations in their shops from Thanksgiving until Christmas and have been doing this Program since 1986.  Stewart’s then matches every donation collected. All Stewart’s Holiday Match funds support children under 18 years of age in their (Stewart’s) market areas.
