MONTICELLO – Back in January, the Panthers and Redhawks met to a similar outcome. The Panthers scored 54 in their previous game against Liberty. But with the final home game of the season on the line, both teams were looking for a win. The Panthers took this game easily, defeating the visiting team 54-27. Monticello senior Mogan Hutchins led the charge, netting 20 points and 15 boards. Julissa Velez had 13 points, including one 3-pointer, and rounding out the Panthers top scorers was Reiley Schloicka with 10 points. The Redhawks were once again led in scoring by Giselle Payton with 14 points, including two 3-pointers from downtown, and Casity Dibartolo and Sophia Vasco both chipped in four points each for the Redhawks.
