Can you believe it’s almost the end of February? March is peeking around the corner, bringing hints of spring with it. Days are getting a tad longer, and there’s this feeling of anticipation in the air. It’s like the whole world is getting ready for a change, shedding its winter coat for something lighter.

Here are some events happening in our communities and beyond:

The New Cochecton Youth Commission has the following events coming up with sign-ups on Tuesday, March 4, from 5:45-6:15 p.m. at the Cochecton Town Hall. Liberty Heights Event on Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. Any questions please contact Catherine at (347) 782-1098. Upcoming Event: Masthope skiing on March 14, from 5:00-9 p.m. Any questions please contact Michelle at 570-419-8801. If you cannot make Sign ups for this event, please contact Michelle for other arrangements. Sign ups will close at 6:15pm on March 4. Cost for adults is $20 lift ticket and $25 rental. You must show proof of residence in the SW district to the ski slope to get this deal. There will also be an RFID fee if you do not already have one. Please bring exact change to Sign ups. 

Upcoming Event: Easter Train ride on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. in Honesdale, PA. Any questions please contact Michelle at 570-419-8801. The Sullivan West High School Musical Production Club will be performing The Spongebob Musical on March 14, 15, 16 in the High School Auditorium. The performance will be at 7 p.m. on March 14 & 15 and a 2 p.m. Matinee on March 16. Adults are $10, students $6, senior citizens (62+) are free. They will have a Sunday Special with a 4-pack for $25 or a 5-pack for $30. Please support our local students!
