Can you believe it’s already March? Time is flying by faster than my homework disappears! March brings with it a mix of spring vibes and the final stretch of the school year. It’s like we’re in the last lap of a race, pushing towards those warm days and maybe even a break. I’m ready to shake off the winter blues and dive into whatever adventures this month throws at us.

Here are some events happening in our communities and beyond:

The New Cochecton Youth Commission has the following events coming up with sign-ups on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 from 5:45-6:15pm at the Cochecton Town Hall. Liberty Heights Event on Sunday, March 9th, 2025 at 2:00pm. Any questions please contact Catherine at (347) 782-1098. If you cannot make Sign ups for this event please contact Catherine for other arrangements, signs up will close at 6:15pm on March 4th.

Upcoming Event: Masthope skiing on March 14, 2025 from 5:00-9pm. Any questions please contact Michelle at 570-419-8801. If you cannot make sign ups for this event, please contact Michelle for other arrangements, signs up will close at 6:15pm on March 4th.  Cost for adults is $20 lift ticket and $25 rental. You must show proof of residence in the SW district to the ski slope to get this deal. There will also be an RFID fee if you do not already have one. Please bring exact change to sign ups.

Upcoming Event: Easter Train ride on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1pm in Honesdale, PA. Any questions please contact Michelle at 570-419-8801. If you cannot make Sign ups for this event please contact Michelle for other arrangements, signs up will close at 6:15 on March 4th. 

Cost for adults is $30. Please bring exact change to sign ups. 

Upcoming Event: Kartrite Indoor Waterpark on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11 am. Any questions please contact April at 845-701-2530. If you cannot make sign ups for this event, please contact April for other arrangements, signs up will close at 6:15pm on March 4th. 

Cost for adults is $49. Please bring exact change to sign ups. 

All of these events are for Cochecton Youth only and as always, free to Cochecton youth.

The Sullivan West High School Musical Production Club will be performing The Spongebob Musical on March 14, 15, 16 in the High School Auditorium. The performance will be at 7 PM on March 14 & 15 and a 2 PM Matinee on March 16. Adults are $10, students $6, senior citizens (62+) are free. They will have a Sunday Special with a 4-pack for $25 or a 5-pack for $30. Please support our local students!
