 Exciting News from Fort Worth, Texas: Diehl Me In IEA Western Middle School Team Shines.

The Diehl Me In IEA Western Middle School team, led by Coach Megan Diehl Blumenthal, made a remarkable impression during their recent trip to Fort Worth, Texas, showcasing exceptional performances across various competitions at the Wyatt Coliseum.

Overall, the Middle School Team, including Lillian Bresslar, Riley Eggleton, Abigail Haff, Mia Powell, and Kylie Houghtaling, secured an impressive 8th place nationally. This was the first time a Diehl Me In team placed at Nationals! Mia Powell and Riley Eggleton achieved 4th place finishes in their respective team classes, while all team members demonstrated strong rides amid tough competition in making it to the national finals.

In individual competitions, Kylie Houghtaling placed 7th in Horsemanship, Riley Eggleton claimed 8th in Horsemanship and 6th in Showmanship, and Abigail Haff secured 8th place in Reining, highlighting their exceptional skills on a national stage. It was so amazing to watch these girls amongst fierce competition.

Additionally, Riley Eggleton, Abigail Haff, and Mia Powell participated as a team in the APHA horseIQ Horse Judging Contest, winning first place in the LIMITED 13 & Under Division and earning silver belt buckles. Individually, Riley Eggleton placed first, Mia Powell fifth, and Abigail Haff eleventh, showcasing their expertise in horse judging. Mia Powell also excelled in the APHA Hippology Contest, securing seventh place overall.

Celebrating their positive energy and team spirit, the Diehl Me In Team also received the Team Spirit Award, underscoring their camaraderie, volunteerism, and overall enthusiasm throughout the event.

The team extends heartfelt thanks to Coach Megan Diehl Blumenthal and their community sponsors whose support made this memorable journey possible. These achievements reflect the team’s dedication, skill, and passion for equestrian excellence.
