PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Town of Rockland Town Board has found it in the public interest to dissolve the Hazel Park Lighting District. The dissolution of this special district will eliminate the public service of street lighting in the areas of Hazel Road and Wegman Road in the Town of Rockland. The dissolution will also eliminate the tax levy for such services from those parcels within the special district once the liabilities of the district have been satisfied. A detailed Dissolution Plan will be available for public inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office, 95 Main St Livingston Manor NY 12758 Monday through Friday between the hours of 12pm and 2pm from May 8th until June 18th 2026, as well as at www.townofrocklandny.gov under the Current News tab. The Town Board of the Town of Rockland will hear any and all commentary from the public at the Town of Rockland Town Hall at 95 Main St Livingston Manor NY 12758 at 7pm on the 18th of June 2026.
