PUBLIC NOTICE FOR FTA SECTION 5310 FUNDING
Sarina’s Limousine & Car Service Inc. hereby notifies the public and interested transportation providers that it intends to apply for funding through the Federal Transit Administration’s Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program administered by the New York State Department of Transportation. The proposal requests assistance to purchase one low-floor cutaway ambulette and five accessible minivan ambulettes, and to support operating assistance and a mobility management program. The project will expand non-emergency medical transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities in Dutchess County, providing door-to-door service for medical appointments, dialysis visits, rehabilitation therapy and essential errands. Comments or requests for additional information must be received within 30 days of the publication date.
