Sullivan County Soil and Water Conservation District (SCSWCD), Rondout Neversink Stream Program, hereby gives notice that proposals will be received by email for the following: Multi-Year Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica) Treatment Services

Work consists of herbicide treatment of Japanese knotweed using methods including foliar spray and stem injection applications, as appropriate, within riparian areas and adjacent lands in the Towns of Neversink (Sullivan County) and Denning (Ulster County), New York. The contract term is as follows: September 2026 through September 2028. Respondents must hold a valid New York State Pesticide Business Registration and a NYS DEC Category 3A (Ornamental and Turf Pest Control) Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification or other applicable NYS DEC certification required for invasive plant management and must have experience in chemical control of invasive plant species in environmentally sensitive and riparian settings. Proposals must be submitted by email no later than Friday, August 14th at 5:00 PM EST to info@rondoutneversink.org. SCSWCD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to award based on best value.
