LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Callicoon is accepting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of the home and contents of the property located at 797 North Branch Callicoon Center Road, SBL 15.-3-8. All trash, rubbish and building remains shall be included in this bid. Foundation will be leveled with clean fill after completion of cleanup. Home contains asbestos according to a survey ordered by the Town that can be obtained by contacting Kris Scullion at 845-482-5390 Ext. 308. Removal will follow all asbestos protocols.

Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Town Clerk and shall be marked “Demolition Bid” on the outside of the envelope. Bids can be dropped off during regular business hours at 19 Legion Street, Jeffersonville, NY, or mailed to PO Box 687, Jeffersonville, NY 12748. Bids will be accepted until the start of the Regular Town Board Meeting on December 9, 2024, at 7:30pm, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. Bidders shall include proof of insurance, asbestos certifications, a non-collusive bid certification and equal opportunity assurance.
