Removal of Structure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town of Bethel, Sullivan County, New York will receive request for proposals on February 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Town Hall, Town Clerk’s Office, 3454 Rt. 55, P.O. Box 300 White Lake, New York 12786 at which

time all proposals will be publicly open and read for the removal of the following unsafe structure: Single-family, one-story, 18’ x 25’ wood frame structure located at Tax Map #41.-25-20 located at 3 Thompson Place, Smallwood, New York 12778 owned by William Matthews.

The Town must be named as additional insured. Subject to the NYS Dept. of Labor Wage and Rate Schedule PCR# 2023000407. To access schedule use this link:

All envelopes shall be cleared marked "PROPOSAL " and shall include a non-collusive Affidavit which can be obtained online or at the Town Clerk’s Office. Engineer’s report available upon request. This is a non-asbestos project. Affidavit can be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office. Any questions regarding the work to be performed can be directed to the Bethel

Building Department at (845) 583-4649 ext. 105. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities and to accept that proposal in their judgment best serves the interest of the Town Board.
