Budget Hearing

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Mamakating has scheduled a public hearing for the 2026 Preliminary Budget for Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall located at 2948 Route 209, Wurtsboro, NY at which time the public will be given the opportunity to comment. Copies of the 2026 Preliminary Budget are available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. Proposed salaries for the following are:

Town Supervisor: $57,391

Town Board members: 6 @ $14,219.50 each

Town Clerk: $60,088

Tax Receiver: $20,688

Town Justice: 2 @ $36,510 each

Highway Superintendent: $80,958
