TOWN OF ROCKLAND

PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Rockland, in the County of Sullivan, State of New York, on March 3rd, 2022, duly enacted Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2022, entitled "A local law establishing an alternate date for meetings of the Board of Assessment Review of the Town of Rockland, Sullivan County, New York," and entered it in its minutes.

Pursuant to Real Property Tax Law §§512(1-a), the local law establishes the first Thursday after the fourth Tuesday in the month of May as the date on which the Town of Rockland Board of Assessment Review shall meet to hear complaints in relation to assessments.
