ROCKLAND – The Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library invites teens and adults to tap into their inner creative in the library’s 2026 Maker-in-Residence Workshop Series. Local Sullivan County ceramics and mixed media artist Bryan Cronk will lead a monthly workshop on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., June through September. Participants will work with different mediums in a supportive and guiding atmosphere. The first workshop schedule on June 6 invites participants for an introduction to knitting. Experienced knitters are also invited to attend and to receive Bryan’s help on a current or new project.
Bryan Cronk has been working in clay since 2006 and has been a knitter for 25 years. He has had a private studio in Livingston Manor since 2014 and has taught beginner ceramics classes at Catskill Art Space. His philosophy: “Everyone is creative, it only takes a supportive environment to express yourself.”
The remaining workshops are scheduled as follows: Sculpting with Clay on July 18; Flower Arranging on August 8; Introduction to Knitting & Knitting Help (revisited) on August 22; and Clay Ornaments on September 12. Registration is required for each workshop; no prior attendance necessary. This project is made possible in part with funding from a Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grant, funded by the Sullivan County Legislature and administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
