FERNDALE – New Hope Community recently donated a former agency van to Catskill Animal Rescue, Inc. (C.A.R.E.) in Ferndale, helping the organization overcome a critical transportation challenge.

When New Hope Community learned that C.A.R.E.’s own van was out of commission, they stepped in to help by donating a decommissioned van. While no longer suitable for agency use due to updated industry standards, the van was ideal for transporting animals and making multi-pet veterinary visits more manageable.

Before handing over the keys, New Hope’s Maintenance Team gave the van a full refresh, replacing brakes, rotors, calipers, spark plugs, and tires, and performing a full oil change to ensure it was road ready.

New Hope Community is proud to support another local nonprofit and glad to see a well-used vehicle find a new home and purpose serving animals in need.
