NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Highland, Sullivan County, New York, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Town of Highland Senior & Community Center, 725 State Route 55, Eldred, New York 12732, to receive public comment on the proposed Town of Highland Comprehensive Plan.

The Comprehensive Plan has been prepared to establish a long-range vision for the future growth, development, conservation, and quality of life within the Town of Highland. The Plan addresses topics including land use, housing, transportation, natural resources, economic development, parks and recreation, community facilities, and other matters affecting the future of the Town.

A copy of the proposed Town of Highland Comprehensive Plan is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 4 Proctor Road, Eldred, New York 12732, and may also be available on the Town’s website.
