BARRYVILLE – Public reservations are needed by July 25 for the Upper Delaware Council’s 37th Annual Family Raft Trip taking place on August 3. Participants will paddle from Barryville to Pond Eddy.
The deeply discounted price of $30 for ages 13 and up, and $20 for kids ages 4-12 for cash or checks, and $31/$21 for PayPal payments, includes rafts, equipment, safety instructions, and shuttle transportation at the end of the trip provided by Kittatinny Canoes. Minimum occupancy per raft is four people.
Arrive between 9-10am at Kittatinny’s Barryville base located at 3854 NYS Rt. 97 to park, check-in at the UDC registration table and launch.

The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) is a non-profit organization working since 1988 in partnership with the National Park Service to conserve the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River for the benefit of present and future generations. The Council holds this exact-cost raft trip to foster appreciation for the river and its resources through a fun, recreational activity to motivate its stewardship.
