MONTICELLO – Resorts World Catskills (RWC) celebrated its Director of Online Marketing, Michelle Semerano, for being named by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce in their Hudson Valley 20th Annual Top Forty Under 40 Mover and Shakers Awards. Each year, former honorees judge nominations based on professional and community achievements selecting individuals who have shown a strong commitment to the Hudson Valley.
Michelle began her career in radio, securing an internship at Thunder 102, a local station in Sullivan County where she spent eight years and became Program Director and On-Air Personality. Later, Michelle joined RWC and after advancing through various roles, now serves as the Director of Online Marketing where she oversees multiple digital platforms across Resorts World’s properties in Bimini, Catskills, Hudson Valley, and NYC as well as the company’s mobile sports betting app, Resorts World Bet.
“I’m honored to be named in this year’s Forty Under 40 by the Dutchess Chamber of Commerce,” said Michelle Semerano, Director of Online Marketing at Resorts World. “As a proud native of Orange County, I’ve long had a passion for both giving back to society and my career in marketing. My inspiring fellow nominees are incredible in their ability to make meaningful impacts through their professional and volunteer efforts, enriching both their careers and communities.”
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Michelle has been a volunteer with the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club for over fifteen years, participating in numerous fundraisers including the Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner. In 2017, Michelle joined the steering committee for the Grown Here: Farm to Table Dinner where she became a member of the Board of Directors in 2019 and has served in various roles including Chair.
“We’re thrilled to see our very own Michelle Semerano recognized in the Hudson Valley’s 20th Annual Forty Under 40,” said Meghan Taylor, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Relations at Resorts World. “Both personally and professionally, Michelle embodies Resorts World’s commitment to being a steadfast community partner. As a member of the Resorts World family, Michelle consistently helps to expand our charitable efforts in the region and is so deserving of this acknowledgment.”
Recently, Michelle expanded her commitment to community by joining the National Area Council Committee with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Where, just this past November, Michelle was awarded the Area Council Liaison of the Year for the Northeast Region.
