Sturm seeks another term as Bethel Supervisor

Posted

BETHEL – The committee to Re-elect Daniel Sturm Town of Bethel Supervisor is pleased to officially announce his candidacy for re-election. He will be running on the Democratic and Sullivan United Party lines in the November 4 General Election.

Daniel has proudly served on the Town Board for 22 years; four years as Council member, and the last eighteen years as supervisor. During his tenure he has continually improved the image of Bethel as a place to live and to do business. The goals are to keep taxes as low as possible, and to continue to seek grant opportunities to help improve our Town. Creating jobs and economic opportunities are always a priority for our residents. It will also continue to be a priority to protect our natural resources, quality of life, and community character.

“I work hard every day to serve the residents to the best of my ability, and we are moving in the right direction with a positive future,” Sturm said. “Running a Town government in these times is particularly challenging. I think my experience in this office helps tremendously. I do try to be open to new ideas about how things are done, and to listen  to our residents and staff about making things better. I will continue to try my best.”

He looks forward to meeting and speaking with as many citizens as possible in what he hopes to be a successful campaign season.
