LAKE HUNTINGTON- The Sullivan West girls soccer team continues to dominate the field this season and looks poised to make a return to sectional play again this year. With their recent 4-0 win over Chapel Field, they improved their record to 6-1. After their win coach Brockner said, “I’m extremely proud of the way the girls played. They worked hard, stayed committed, and left everything on the field. What makes me most proud is the way they continue to play for one another and battle together from start to finish. We’re seeing excellent progress each week, and the team has continued to show the kind of dedication and determination that will serve them well as we move into the second half of the season. Our focus moving forward is really about continuing to play our game and building on what we’ve already established. We want to be smart with our passing, communicate consistently, and continue supporting one another each time we step on the field. As the season progresses, we’ll keep working on the little things that can make a big difference.” The Bulldogs are scheduled to face the Bears today at 4:30 pm on the Bears’ home turf in Grahamsville.
