Fallsburg - The Fallsburg Public Library is excited to announce the finale of its 2026 Summer Reading Program, "Unearth a Story," celebrating a summer filled with reading, learning, exploration, and fun.

To wrap up this year's program, the library will host a special finale featuring a petting zoo and face painting, giving families the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of animals, creativity, and celebration.

Throughout the summer, participants have explored new books, completed reading challenges, and taken part in programs and activities inspired by this year's theme. The finale will give the library a chance to celebrate our young readers and all they have accomplished this summer.

"We are so proud of all of our Summer Reading participants and everything they have accomplished this summer," said Kiara Josey, Library Assistant. "We're excited to end the program with a fun celebration for our readers and their families."

The Summer Reading Program Finale will take place on Sunday, August 16 from 12:00-2:00pm at the Fallsburg Public Library. Families and community members are encouraged to join us for this special celebration. Anyone can join in on the fun!
