NARROWSBURG - Tommy Cambridge, executive director of Growing Older Together (GOT), will speak on Sunday, January 25th at 10:15 AM. GOT is a non-profit organization serving residents aged 60 and older in Wayne County (PA), western Sullivan County (NY), and adjacent areas, both with the practical means and social connections to live independently in their homes for as long as possible.
GOT is one of four local organizations chosen as beneficiaries of the 2025 Bud Rue Memorial Walk for Social Justice held last October 26th. At this meeting, a $1,000 check will be presented to Mr. Cambridge by the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UDUUF) as an unrestricted donation to GOT to use in furtherance of that agency's ministry in the community. Other organizations, in addition to GOT, receiving $1,000 checks this year include Wayne County Habitat for Humanity, Victims Intervention Program, and Sullivan Allies Leading Together.
The Sunday morning services of the UDUUF are held in person at 10:15 AM in the Narrowsburg Union, 7 Erie Ave., Room 102, Narrowsburg, NY 12764, and live streamed on Zoom. For more information about this or upcoming weekly programs, see upperdelawareuu.org or email uduuf2022@gmail.com.
