BETHEL — The Town of Bethel is launching its Summer 2026 Youth Soccer Program. Funded in part by a grant from Sullivan 180, this grassroots initiative brings free recreational training and scrimmages to local families. To ensure full community access, all marketing graphics, informational flyers, and official registration materials are fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

The program runs every Saturday from July 11 through August 22 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All sessions will take place at the Dr. Duggan School field, located at 3460 Route 55 in White Lake, NY. Led by Head Coach Carlos Matos Jr., the program is open to all youth residents across Sullivan County. To ensure age-appropriate skill development, the league features two distinct divisions: ages 6 to 8 and ages 9 to 11. Sessions will focus on foundational ball handling, teamwork, and friendly weekly scrimmages.

Requirements

• To ensure safety on the pitch, all participating players must bring the following gear to every session:

• Standard sneakers or athletic shoes

• Protective shin guards worn under soccer socks

• A personal towel

•An individual water bottle for hydration

Registration Process

Registration is officially open. Parents can secure a spot for their children using one of the following methods:

Online Application: Visit the official town website at townofbethelny.gov. Select “Departments” from the main menu, click on “Parks and Recreation,” and open the bilingual “Soccer Registration Form” link to print the application.

Paper Application: Physical registration forms are available for pickup directly at Bethel Town Hall.

Submission: Drop off all completed applications to Town Clerk Rita Sheehan at the Town of Bethel Office, located at 3454 State Route 55, White Lake, NY 12786.
