Tri-Gal 4-H Club News Reporter

EQUINUNK, PA – On Sunday, May 17 prior to our May business meeting, club members, parents and volunteers completed the Spring Adopt-A- Highway roadside cleanup with temperatures reaching near ninety degrees. Our club cleans up trash along the sides of Rutledgedale Road, Wescott Road and a portion of Galilee Road.

We collected over 20 bags of trash, tires and a variety of other items. A special thank you to Jordan, Tayler and Josh from the Equinunk Fire Company- Lookout, for providing traffic control with the fire truck to help keep our members, parents and leaders safe while completing this community service project. After the business meeting, everyone enjoyed ice cream bars and cold drinks at Rock Ridge Farm which was our central gathering place for the cleanup and meeting.
