LIBERTY – On July 7, The Tri-Valley Lions had their monthly dinner meeting at the Liberty Diner. The meals were wonderful and ever so tasty.
The highlight of the meeting was the installation of our newest member, Zach Nilsen, an attorney from Neversink. Lion Stu Wizwer performed the installation ceremony. Ilene Wizwer was Zach’s sponsor into The Tri-Valley Lions. We are so proud and excited to have Zach join us.
Stu also re-installed Lion Tom Manell as a Director of the Tri-Valley Lions. Tom has been a long-time member of the T-V Lions, and we are pleased to have him back on the Board of Directors.
At the meeting, a donation was also approved to be sent to the Grahamsville First Aid Squad, one of the volunteer organizations which is always available to help those in need in our community.
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, August 4 at our Soda Booth in the Grahamsville Fairgrounds, where we will ready our booth for the first event of the summer – the 145th Grahamsville Little World’s Fair, which starts on Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17. There will be some 4-H and Youth events on Thursday, August 14. We hope you will stop by for coffee, tea, and cold beverages, or to just say “hello.”
