ROSCOE – The Twin Village Monday Night Men’s Golf League handed out its 2026 awards at a season-ending dinner at The Courtyard on Monday, September 28.

The league, which boasted 17 two-man teams, ran from May through mid-September and used the Stableford scoring system. Chuck Husson IV and Tom Ackerly took top honors this year with a total score of 396 points. Husson also led the league in scoring, with 190.5 points.

Second place went to Matt Kunze and Paul Ryder, who finished at 389 points, just 7 points off the lead. Kunze finished in third place individually, scoring 181.50 points.

Third place went to Khris and Pat DiBartolo, who finished with 381 points. Khris had the second highest scoring total in the league, netting 187 points.

Most Points by a Team Award went to two teams who each scored 25 points in one night of play. The winning teams were the father-and-son teams of BJ and Noah Hendrickson and Bryan and Gavin Thomas. The Thomases finished fourth overall while the Hendricksons placed fifth in league standings.

Most Eagles Award went to Dan Clancy and Kevin Green, who both had two eagles on the year. One of Kevin Green’s eagles was a hole-in-one on the par-3, 167-yard sixth hole.

Most Birdies Award went to Chuck Husson IV, who had 30 birdies during 16 weeks of play.

Most Pars Award was won by Collin Tallman, who had 74 pars in 15 weeks of action.

Twin Village, which is owned by the Town of Rockland, was in excellent condition throughout the year and the league enjoyed several “fun nights” where tees were moved, or the teams played best ball. In 2027, the league will look to expand to 18 teams and continue its schedule from May through September.

Rob Eggleton, who played alongside his brother, Phil, in the league, said, “We really owe Chuck [Husson] a big round of applause for running the league again this year. He does an excellent job each week and really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a good time.”
