Come out and enjoy Spring Soup with Dale Buchheister at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Wednesday, March 25, at 5 p.m. Participants will learn how to make two soups with simple ingredients that are great for celebrating the spring season! Bring a food item from your pantry to add to the soup, and bring a mason jar or reusable container for leftovers. Supplies are limited, so registration is required. FMI: 845-482-4350.

Also, the 2026-2027 Library Budget Vote will be held at all three branches of the Western Sullivan Public Library from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. A Budget Information Session is scheduled for Monday, April 13, at 5 p.m., at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch in Narrowsburg. The library's 2025 Annual Report to the Community and the 2026-2027 proposed budget will be available at the branches and online at www.WSPLonline.org starting March 23.  

Girl Scout Troops #356 & #736 are hosting a movie fundraiser at the Callicoon Movie Theater on March 19, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the movie starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $12 each and $40 for a family of four. Hippity-Hoppity! The Easter Bunny is coming to Peck’s Market in Jeffersonville on Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy treats, goodies, and smiles while you and the kids have fun for the whole family at this cheerful community event to welcome Spring! The Sullivan West Class of 2030 is hosting a Chicken BBQ fundraiser on Sunday, April 26, at the Lake Huntington Firehouse (located at 70 CR 116, Lake Huntington, NY). A suggested donation of $15 with a pickup time between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are available from Class of 2030 students. Come out and enjoy a delicious chicken dinner while you help the students raise funds for their school events and activities!
