Livingston Manor takes parade out west

Posted

Main Street in Livingston Manor was lined with countless cowboy boots and other western-syle apparel as hundreds celebrated the annual Trout Parade last Saturday. This year’s theme was Trout on the Range.

Prior to the parade kick-off, attendees visited the vendor fair at Renaissance Park and danced in the street to music from the talent Randy Hulse Sr. Hungry guests could also visit the Livingston Manor Fire Department, who were putting on a chicken BBQ. A photo booth by Jill C. Smith Photography offered a chance to capture the moment as well.

The parade was put on by Calliope-on-Main and various sponsors. The Congregation of Temple Agudas Achim was the Grand Marshal for the day, as the voice of the event was provided by the emcee, Brad Mann.
