Be Careful Don’t Fall

Posted

My friend Leisha’s parents were due to fly to New Jersey  from England where they live, to visit their daughter and her family, as they do every year, at least once, when her father fell  the night before they were due to leave.

Leisha’s father managed to hit his head  when he fell and would  probably need an operation  before he was fit to fly again.

John and Maria Owens are one of my favorite   couples.  John is now in his 80s but he  is still a romantic personality.  When he is asked how he met his wife, he will tell you.

He was tending bar at a hotel  when the most beautiful girl he had ever seen walked in.  If you ask him if she was alone or with other people, he will tell you that he has no idea.  In other words, he only had eyes for her.

So when he fell for Maria, that was one fall he didn’t mind taking.

Leisha wound up flying to  England so she could be with her parents in case her dad needed an operation.  As she says, her mom  isn’t good at staying alone.  Now the family is about to experience  a happy occasion.  Leisha’s oldest daughter, Taylor will be getting married next Saturday.
