Coffee to go: Java Love has announced closing the Bethel location after a dozen years in White Lake! Jodie and Kristine started their coffee roasting business in the Beekman Building, moving to 17B soon after. As they focus on growing Java Love, let’s applaud their great run in Bethel!

Bethel Lakeside Music kicks off on Thursday, the 29th, at the Kauneonga Lake Community Park from 6-8pm. Season Opener is a double feature with FBP’s Franklin Trapp Sneak Peek and Joanna Gass’ Search & Rescue Orchestra. Bring a chair to enjoy speakers, great music and entertaining performances and a lovely setting every week. Free.

Stop by the Kauneonga Lake Farm & Makers Market at Kauneonga Square every Saturday from 11-2pm. The market hosts farm vendors, crafts, art, music, demos and more.

Register and attend the Sunday, July 2nd Smallwood/Mongaup Valley Firehouse “20th Annual SMVFD Run-5K Walk” at Ballard Road followed by the 1pm Annual Open House! Reg begins at 7:30am, Walk steps off at 8:30, Run at 9am with food, post race. Later at the Open House, enjoy community, hot dogs, beer and beverages, raffles and 50-50 fundraising. Waterways Outdoors hosts the White Lake ‘Combined Length Challenge’ 2-Man Teams Fishing Contest on Sunday, July 2nd, from 6a-6pm. Pre-reg only: 845-978-6161.

James Taylor & his All Star Band take the Pavilion Stage on Thursday, the 29th, at 7:30pm.

The first week of July will prove to be a lot of work for everyone at Bethel Woods and a good time for those who have tickets. Seven shows in nine days! “Robert Plant and Allison Krauss with JD McPherson” take the stage on Saturday, the 1st. Next up is “Steve Miller Band with Joe Satriani” on Sunday evening, the 2nd. “Shania Twain” takes charge and performs with ‘Priscilla Black’ on the Pavilion stage on Monday, the 3rd, at 7:30pm. 

Narrowsburg Union hosts BCA’s exhibit, “Artists to Humans”, until Sunday. Attend the ‘Closing Reception’ on the 1st at 4:30-7pm.
