‘US Open Fan Week’, hosted by US Open Tennis Championships at the Flushing, NY USTA Billie Jean King Natl Tennis Center, continues until the 25th. The US Open then runs from the 26th to September 8th (usopen.org).                                                                                              

The Great New York State Fair at the Syracuse Fairgrounds begins Aug 21 with dog, cattle, and horse shows and runs until September 2nd with special event days, 

Midway entertainment, music, food, vendors and more (nysfair.ny.gov).         Register for Tweed’s Gymnastics on the 20th from 5-7pm.                                                                                                   Bethel Lakeside Music hosts ‘Laura Garone & W. Lake St.’ this Thursday, the 22nd, in Kauneonga Lake Community Gazebo Park from 6-8pm. Bring a chair and enjoy the sunset.                                                                                                                                         

 Attend Kauneonga Lake Farm & Makers Market on Saturdays at Veteran’s Square. A variety of vendors and artisans are gathered from 11-2pm. Support and stop at the SMVFD Drive-Thru BBQ Chicken Dinner (½ chick full-dinner BBQ $15) on Ballard Road on the 24th from 1pm-until SO. 

Holiday Mtn is hosting a Family Fun Day with lots to do on Saturday from 11-4pm. Hortonville Fire Dept has it’s annual Field Day & Parade on the 24th at 12noon.
