Get in Shape: Walk the Smallwood Forest Reserve trail. Use the provided exercise equipment. Go to the Dog Park. Contact Parks and Rec for Town Park and Pool, summer program, and scheduled activity information. Visit Lake Superior Park! Use  trailkeeper.com for area hiking.

June is our time to Celebrate PRIDE. At the least, be open to the issues surrounding the LGBTQIA2S community. First, let’s spell out the acronym: Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer-or questioning, intersex, asexual-or agender. Recently added, 2S means two-spirit. There are countless affirmative ways people choose to self identify. Imagine that, but know it’s reality for some.

Dinner and Graduation presentations will be held for Leadership Sullivan Class of 23 at the VillaRoma Clubhouse on the 15th at 6pm.

Join the community at the R4-Rhulen Rock Hill Run & Ramble Trevor Loughlin Foundation- on Saturday am, the 17th, for the Run /Walk with medals and cash prizes, raffles, donations, lite food and bev, music, and a really good feeling! Register to participate in your own Virtual R4, too.  Advance registration: www.rockhillrun.com or race day from 7-9am. Attend the Alzheimer’s Tricky Tray at the White Lake Firehouse to benefit the Sullivan-Orange Co Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, the 17th. $2 adm/donation. Doors open 12:30, Calling 2pm. Narrowsburg Union hosts the Bethel Council of the Arts exhibit, “Artists to Humans” through July 2nd.

Attend Forestburg Playhouse’s ‘Under the Stars’ Series performance. FBP hosts Bway’s “Nicholas Rodriguez Live in Concert” on the 17th at 8pm. Summer productions and Youth Musical tickets are available (845-794-1194).
