Did you know Senator Schumer recently announced the White House Office of Natl Drug Control Policy has finally granted Sullivan Co to be designated as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking area (HIDTA)? Despite having the highest per-capita fatal drug overdose rate, it was the only county not included. Learn more on SC Public Health Services website or fb.

Bethel Lakeside Music Series is held every Thursday at the Kauneonga Lake Community Park from 6-8pm. Bring a chair to enjoy great music, speakers, raffles and a lovely setting.“Fisher, Kean & D’Oraz” are scheduled for the 20th.

The Yoga Space offers Saturday 9am Yoga at the KL Community Park. Rain? Beekman Pavilion. $15. BYO mat.  Stop by the Kauneonga Lake Farm & Makers Market at Kauneonga Square every Saturday from 11-2pm. The market hosts farm vendors, crafts, art, music and more. Attend Hurleyville’s 4th Annual Pride Celebration on the 22nd from 2-7pm. Enjoy block party-carnival entertainment with music, fashion and family-friendly drag show, activities, and refreshments.

The DVAA Riverfest is on for Sunday, the 23rd, in Narrowsburg from 10-4pm. Meander, shop vendors, learn about the Delaware River ‘Eddy’ and ecology, enjoy music, art, Kid’s crafting, and food. I was mistaken when I said Bethel Woods had a void until the 28th. “Boy George & Culture Club”, featuring Howard Jones  & Berlin, slipped in for a performance on the 22nd.

Get tickets for “Matilda” at Forestburgh Playhouse until the 30th. The FBP Young Audience and Family Theater offers “Madagascar” and “Gordon Gets Down” on a Thursday and Saturday schedule through mid-August.

Liberty Soul Stage hosts “The Schweggs” on Saturday, the 22nd at 6pm.

Attend the Eldred Preserve-Bradstan Cabaret Series with “Mark Nadler” on the 23rd at 7pm. (15% dinner savings with reserved show ticket. 845-557-8316).

Delaware Valley Opera in Lake Huntington offers Puccini’s ‘La Boheme’ in English on the 22nd at 7pm and 23rd at 2pm.
