Bethel Woods Center for the Arts opened their summer concert series on Friday, June 14 with a performance by Woodstock Alumnus John Fogerty. Joining the legendary guitarist of Creedence Clearwater Revival was George Thorogood, an equally talented fan favorite, and Hearty Har, a modern psychedelic/garage rock band fronted by John Fogerty’s sons Shane (guitar/vocals) and Tyler Fogerty (guitar/vocals). 

“The season got off to a rocking start,” said Bethel Woods Head of Marketing and Communications, Susan Russ. “Friday also marked the opening of the new Campground at Bethel Woods.”

Bethel Woods has opened up their expansive property to campers. The site has availability for tents and RV’s, as well as Glamping tents with all the amenities from home brought to the outdoors. 

Bethel Woods has also introduced some new food and beverage options, including a “vintage-style coffee trailer” called “Laughing Cat Coffee and Espresso” to help keep the party going.
