HONESDALE — The Honesdale Family Health Center (HFHC), one of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) nine primary care offices, welcomes Breanne Phillips, PA-C, to its 600 Maple Avenue location where she sees patients age 16 to adult for assessment, evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Phillips brings 10 years of experience to HFHC; however, her association with Wayne Memorial goes back much further.

“I was born at Wayne Memorial Hospital and raised in the Honesdale area. It feels right to practice medicine in my hometown and help my neighbors and friends lead healthy lives,” said Phillips. “I consider it a privilege to take care of people in a community that has done so much for me.”

Phillips is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University, Center Valley, PA. Throughout her career, Phillips has worked in the specialties of family practice, cardiology, urgent care and pain management in Pennsylvania and New York.

Phillips says she excited to be part of the WMCHC team and devote her skills to the practice of family medicine, “this setting allows me to develop ongoing relationships with both my patients and their families. Additionally, I can treat the whole patient instead of focusing on just one aspect of their care.”
