Carl W. Fredd of Livingston Manor, NY a retired truck driver for Deckelman Trucking, died on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Garnet Medical Center Harris, NY. He was 87. The son of the late Willard and Evelyn Reynolds Fredd he was born June 23, 1933 in Fallsburg, NY.

Carl proudly served his country in the US Navy. Carl was a retired propane delivery driver for Agway Energy Products. Carl was a 61 year member and past Chief of the the Jeffersonville Fire Department, a member and past President of the Sullivan County Firefighters Association, and a member of the Hudson Valley Firemen's Association.

Carl is survived by his wife Janette Johnson Fredd at home, his canine companions Max and Molly, his sister Norma Cucci of Callicoon, NY, brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Jeannine Boffa of Montgomery, TX, his children: Carlene Schwebe, Kevin Fredd (Wendy) of Ohio, Thomas F. Cosgrove IV (Dawn) and Tricia Cosgrove. His Grandchildren: Krystal Schwebe Clark, Joshua, Joseph, Timothy, Titus, and Lydia Fredd, Thomas F. Cosgrove V., Cassidy Mercer, Cheyenne Jungen, Carrissa Corbine, Parimala Cosgrove, Katherine, Nicole, Emily, and Richelle Kortright.

His great-grandchildren: Peyton and Paisley Clark, Colton Fredd and Aria Warner. His nieces and nephews: Debbie Reimer, Denise Marcella, Nancy Milk, Richard Cucci, David Cucci, Ronald Boffa, and Fred Dumond. Carl is also survived by his dear friend Jerry McArthur.

In addition to his parents Carl was predeceased by his brother-in-law Ronald Cucci, his brother-in-law Richard Johnson, his son-in-law Hank Schwebe, and his son Richard W. Cosgrove.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Carl's memory may be made to the Jeffersonville Fire Department, PO Box 610, Jeffersonville, NY 12748.
