The Department of State’s Division of Cemeteries is hosting Cemetery 101 courses across New York State. On November 8, from 3 PM to 6 PM, the event will be open to the public at the Roscoe Rockland Community Center, located at 1968 Old Route 17, Roscoe, NY 12776. Even if you don’t register in advance, you’re still welcome to attend if seats are available. We encourage cemetery officers, directors, and operators to attend one of the interactive trainings.  These trainings are designed to educate stakeholders on the basic aspects of successful cemetery operations and provide an opportunity to meet with Division staff and ask questions and gain insight into best practices.
