ELDRED — Gathering for their annual Gala was the Sullivan County Conservative Party, which saw eight dozen county residents, officials and candidates share a night out at the Eldred Preserve last Thursday.
Guest speaker, New York State Senator Peter Oberacker, noted in perspective of government on all stages – with the need to keep in mind the three F’s; Faith, family, and fight.
New York State Assembly Member Paula Kay also took to the podium to announce her support for the recent striking officers at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility.
Being lead by Sullivan County Conservative Party Chair Ed Magilton, guests took turns standing up to announce their name and what position they are running for, which included seats in various towns, villages and county government.
