Roadways and driving were treacherous on Tuesday as a fast-moving storm left six inches of wet snow on the roadways. According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, at 3:10 p.m. a pick-up truck was pulling out of Starck Lane onto Route 97 when the driver apparently did not see a white Honda Genesis coming northbound. “The driver looked both ways but possibly with the car being white he did not see it. He pulled out in front of the oncoming car and T-boned the car,” Corporal Chris Bulduc of the Sheriff’s Office said. The Honda went off the road, overturning on the bank. Neither driver was hurt. “Thankfully both parties are OK,” Cpl. Bulduc said. Both parties were seen by EMT’s on the scene from the Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps. Also on scene was the Callicoon Fire Department.
