CALLICOON — Easter traditions returned to Callicoon this weekend with the hamlet’s annual egg hunt, held at the Delaware Youth Center. 

The weekend’s rains paused for kids of all ages to run the grounds of the non-profit searching for colorful eggs filled with goodies. 

Egg hunting took no time at all, but the bunny of the hour made an appearance much to the kids’ delight, leading them on a game of chase and doling out plenty of hugs. 

The annual hunt is volunteer-run and one of the many free events for local youth that the center is able to offer thanks to donations from the community.
