MONTICELLO —  February is the month during which we celebrate exceptional relationships with spouses, lovers and special friends. Honor that unique bond in your life by bringing that special someone to “Shorts & Sweets for Valentines” presented by the Ethelbert B. Crawford Library in Monticello on Tuesday, February 13 at 6 p.m.

Enjoy jokes, poems and short stories for lovers and friends presented by Carol Montana, the Artistic Director of Big Sky Productions. Carol has been presenting Shorts & Sweets programs for many years now using the themes of Valentine’s Day, April Fool’s Day, Mother’s Day, Gratefulness, Friendships and the December Holidays.

Yummy sweets will be available during the presentation courtesy of the library. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. And because it’s still winter, the snow date is Saturday, February 17 at 2 p.m.
