HIGHLAND — The Planning Board of Highland announced the extension of the public comment period regarding the results of Camp Fimfo Modernization and Improvement Project Draft Environmental Impact Statement, or DEIS, to March 11.

Originally, the cut-off date for comment submission was January 10. At a Planning Board meeting held on December 18 at the Eldred Central School District, over 51 letters of correspondence had been officially submitted and received. 

Hard copies of the DEIS may be obtained at the town hall, 4 Proctor Road, Eldred. To submit written comments, correspond with Planning Board Secretary Helene Hoffman at planningboardzba@townofhighlandny.com.
