George Keesler of Johnson City, NY formerly of Liberty, died at the age of 80 on September 19, 2023. 

The son of the late Abe and Beryl Keesler of Galilee, PA, he was born on April 20, 1943 at Callicoon. 

George graduated from Damascus High, PA and he attended Marywood College. He lived in Binghamton and Florida. Finally he settled in Liberty and worked at Grover Hermann Hospital in Callicoon until his retirement. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Abe and Beryl Keesler of Galilee, PA and his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Don Soliwoda.

Survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and Dave Kresge, niece and husband Nicole and Matt Ridley, nephew Jason Kresge and great-nieces Marissa and Peyton, his aunt Mary Tyler and cousins and friends. 

A private burial was held on September 30, 2023 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Galilee, PA. George is at peace and finally at home.
