Harmony at Bethel Woods: Josh Groban returns

Josh Groban, a singer, songwriter, and actor who has sold more than 30 million albums since his debut in 2001, said he was honored to return and sing on the same grounds as the historic 1969 Woodstock concert.

Groban, on his multi-city Harmony tour, said to those at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Pavilion on July 5 that recording and releasing a new album in the midst of a global pandemic was challenging, but he was so delighted to be performing before a live audience again and to bring these songs to life.

Groban was supported in Bethel by Eleri Ward, New York City‐based actor, singer, and musician, and New Orleans jazz staple Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Harmony, Groban’s ninth album, is a collection of 12 songs, of which 10 are covers of classic songs that range from rock, classics, and pop like “Angels” by English music star Robbie Williams to Frank Sinatra’s recorded song, “The World We Knew (Over and Over).”

The record features two new songs penned by the Tony-nominated musician himself. The tour will continue until August 2, ending in Groban’s hometown, Los Angles.
