ROCK HILL – In celebration of an upcoming jazz performance—and a very special personal milestone—Donna Singer and her husband, Roy Singer, will be performing a jazz concert at El Sombrero Restaurant, 227 Lake Louise Marie Rd, Rock Hill, NY 12775 on July 24 from 6–8 p.m. (reservations strongly suggested at 845-513-4219).
Following their jazz set, the evening will transform into a heartfelt love celebration, as Donna and Roy renew their vows, honoring both their marriage and the music that brought them together. The short ceremony will be officiated by First Lady Vernice Collins of Ellenville’s Shiloh Baptist Church.
Donna is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, educator and performer whose life has been shaped by a deep and lasting love of music. From her early days in the Bronx to her years growing up in the Town of Fremont, Sullivan County, Donna’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and joy.
Donna earned her degree at the prestigious New York Academy of Theatrical Arts, with further studies at Juilliard. She has toured the world as a performing artist, captivating audiences in London, Paris, Rome, Switzerland, Ireland, and Wales. In the United States, her performances have graced iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, among many others.
Whether performing in an intimate nightclub or at a major venue like the Miami Dolphins stadium—where she delivered a stirring rendition of the National Anthem—Donna consistently dazzles with her charisma and dynamic stage presence.
With 12 CDs and nine singles to her credit, her artistry continues to reach audiences far and wide. With a career that spans teaching, ministry, and international performance, she brings heart, humor, and authenticity to every stage she steps on.
