The Liberty Diner was abuzz with excitement as friends and family of Judy Kogon came together to celebrate an important milestone Tuesday afternoon. At 106 years old, the birthday celebrant of Loch Sheldrake had not only reached a remarkable age but also reflected on a life full of cherished moments and meaningful connections.

The joyous occasion was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and an abundance of love as everyone came together to honor Judy’s remarkable journey. The gathering was made even more special with a delightful spread of food, generously provided by the Liberty Diner. 

Among the dishes, Judy had also been eagerly looking forward to her dear friend Penny’s homemade lasagna.

Judy is known for her active involvement in both the Fallsburg and Loch Sheldrake Senior Centers. Additionally, she is also a proficient player in Rummy and other card games, which she enjoys playing with her friends at the Senior Centers.

As she continues to embrace life with grace and vitality, her remarkable journey serves as a testament to the power of resilience, love, and the enduring bonds of friendship and community.
